Configuring SQL Server is a three-part process. You have to pick the hardware (physical or virtual), install the software and change settings, based on what you know (or think you know) about the workload you plan to support.
In this session, Microsoft MVP Andy Warren and Quest® Database Technical Specialist and Market Strategist Tim Fritz will cover these areas. But you’ll receive extra guidance on post-install changes because these are the easiest to change and perhaps the easiest to miss. You’ll see how fixing these settings can make a big impact on SQL Server performance.
