The age-old question for IT used to be “build or buy?” But in today’s world where cloud-based infrastructure has made it perhaps a little too convenient to spin up new VMs and consume cloud resources, the wasteful over-provisioning and under-utilization of these resources should have organizations asking themselves “sprawl or save?”
