As the data explosion continues, businesses need to analyze events such as customer purchases, along with current and historical data. Relational databases excel at storing the current state of a record, but not the history of changes to the record. That requires coding or a separate change data capture tool. Then, the record of those changes needs to be stored somewhere.
In this presentation, Clay Jackson, Senior Sales Engineer will show you how you can use SharePlex® by Quest® to capture Oracle change data and provide it to a Kafka broker, where it can be used by analytics tools or serverless ingress points, such as Azure Event Hubs.
